The Outfitter Outfitter Colin Niemeyer has been an avid hunter and outdoors man since he was old enough to crawl. Learning the "ropes" from his father who immigrated to British Columbia from Zambia in 1977, his father (Hayes) taught him the art of tracking and out smarting game as well as the responsibilities and ethics of a true hunter. After graduation Colin enrolled in University. Knowing his calling was else where Colin decided to take the fall semesters off school and began guiding Stone Sheep for Gundahoo River Outfitters. After 4 years of University and a business diploma Colin became a full time guide. Guiding every species the country has to offer, for various outfitters in British Columbia for the last 10 years, Colin purchased his own guiding area (Niemeyer Outfitting) in 2006. Colin truly enjoys the outfitting life, the people, and the thrill of the hunt.
The Cook
Alisha does all of the cooking (and cleaning and paperwork and most of the "behind the scenes" jobs). She has worked in the serving industry for 10 years from Birista to Bartender. Her bubbly attitude and humour is often the life and laugh of the camp. Her meals are considered gourment by most and she makes sure that you don't loose too much weight on these hunts. She often comes along on the hunts and our clients call her a "lucky charm" as we are almost sure to have a successful day.
